MLM Marketing Strategies
56MLM Marketing Don'ts
When you first start an MLM marketing business, it can seem very overwhelming. You may not know what has just hit you. You see the opportunity that is there, but it just seems so far out of reach. The first week that you sign up in a new network marketing company, is a very exciting week. You have a lot of motivation and dedication, and you are excited to share this opportunity with the world. However, what happens most times, is that the average person can not see the bigger picture and network marketing business. Usually, people are so afraid of being scammed that they can't do their own research to find out if the company you're right is a legitimate company are not. They say things like, "this is a scam" or "this is a get rich quick scheme," and they don't trust your judgment that it's not. If you haven't experienced this, you are lucky.
One thing you definitely don't want to do when you start your network marketing business is hound your family and friends. I definitely think that it is important to tell them what you're doing, but if they say no, you drop it. I feel that it's important because when I started my business, I knew that this was going to be something I could be rich in, and I didn't want them coming back to me when I was rich saying "Why did you tell me?" So I told everybody I knew, and then I left it at that. If they wanted to join me, I let them join. If they didn't want to join me, I didn't bring it up again.
Another thing you do not want to do them in MLM marketing business is convince people that your business is the best. This is because, there are so many businesses out there, and there are so many different personality types, that your business might not be the best match for somebody. So, give people all the information that you feel is necessary for them to make a decision, and let them decide. There is no reason for you to tell and sell to a person. Let them make their own decision, because if you convince somebody to come in your business, and they're not really doing it on their own free will and with their own judgment, they probably won't succeed in your business.
The "Average Mom" in MLM Marketing
The "average mom" in MLM marketing is usually a huge success story. When a child is born, every mother wants nothing but the best for him or her. I've seen countless number of mothers in my friend and family circles that have had children and men within just a few months had to go back to work. More times than not, these mothers were not ready to go back to work. They want to stay home and raise their children, but they had to take them to daycare. This creates an interesting situation when a mother is introduced to the network marketing industry. Most times, if you ask a mother if she would rather work or be home with her kids she would choose being home with her kids. She would also choose to be up to give them anything that they wanted (within reason of course).
So, when his mom is introduced to the world of direct sales and network marketing. GC is an opportunity to provide for her family that, most likely, her job has never given her. She is able to own and operate a business from her home, while still being able to care for her family, that creates money for her to also provide for her family. She is able to have a helping hand in the finances.
The reason that network marketing and MLM marketing is so popular among mothers is because it is a business that, once it is set up properly, doesn't require 40 hour weeks that a typical job does. I don't mean to say that network marketing doesn't require a lot of investment of time, because for most people it does. (The only people who say they enrolled 300 people their first month have already been in a network marketing business and have a huge network of people. They're actually probably bringing the people over from their previous company.) So, if a mom can sacrifice some of her personal time to build and network marketing business, she can pay back her family for any time she was taking out because soon she will be working less hours than she had ever imagined.
MLM Marketing Done Right
When done right, MLM marketing will create a huge income for the business owner. It is important to set up your company in a way that is extremely duplicatable. For example, Kali and I have created a back office for our team members that walks them step-by-step through exactly how to create their website, how to create videos, and everything that they would need to do online marketing. We did this because it provides a way for our team members to get themselves online without depending directly on us. We can also focus more time on specific questions with our team like: "How should I word my website" rather than "how do I make a website." It also allows our team members to provide a duplicatable system to their prospects, because we allow our team members to market our back office as if it were their own. This means that anybody who comes into our team has, at their fingertips, hours upon hours of videos walking them step-by-step through how to set up a website and can do anything they may not know how to online.
So, the point is that you should be creating a system that you can teach to your team members without having to devote an extremely large amount of time. The big picture of network marketing is for you to create an income, and once at the level you are happy with, you can step back and let your team keep producing. The reason we provide our team with online training for everybody, is because once were at the income level we are happy with, we don't want to stop providing training. We just don't want to have to do it all the time. Thus we recorded everything so that, really, we are providing training at all hours of the day. We provide training whenever our team members require it.
