Myth 1: Your MLM Opportunity Is for Everyone, or Is It?

 

You might be a little puzzled at what I mean right now, but if you truly believe in what I am saying, I think you will start signing more people up in your MLM opportunity. One of the reasons I joined the company I am with is because I really believe in the product, and I think it's an awesome company. But if my mindset was, "This business is for everyone," and I tried to convince people of that, then they would think, "Well, if this is for everyone, why doesn't every one do it?" Now you are trying to convince someone rather than lead some one to a decision. People never want to join something that everyone can. That's why people join gangs, because they want to feel apart of something special. If someone will willingly get beat down to the ground, and maybe even get put in the hospital because of it, to join a gang, you will not have any problem finding like minded people to collaborate with to join your business. Plus, everyone truly wants to have success.

So when you approach someone about your business, remember to always think this probably isn't for you, or at least come from that mindset, and you will always have someone chasing you down to join your team. If you let people know, without telling them, that your MLM opportunity is for a limited group of people, they'll be dying to get on your team.

Myth #2: Success Will Come Easily in Your MLM Opportunity

I have seen this a lot over the years as an MLM entrepreneur. In fact, this whole persona is what got me involved in my MLM Opportunity so long ago. Not because I was lazy or that I minded working hard for something that I really had a desire to achieve, but because I was mislead and no one had the courage to tell me what it really took to become successful. However, I wish someone would have because I was willing to do whatever it took. Instead, people just told me what they thought I wanted to hear, so that hopefully I would stay around.

So, yes, if it was that easy everyone would have success. So it clearly isn't quite that easy. How ever it's actually a lot easier than most realize. One key point is that consistent bad marketing is more effective than great marketing that's not consistent. This means that if you develop some habits for building your business, in the long run they will start paying off.

Now that you know my take on success, let's talk about something that's like "push button success" that is very exciting. It's called automation, and most times when people talk about this, it's blown way out of proportion and it just does not work.

The major difference between push button building and common sense automation is one works and the other does not. If you haven't noticed there are a lot of MLM opportunities out there, so what you have to do is set yourself apart from the competition by branding yourself. I do this using YouTube videos (this allows me to be seen...branding me). What's great about this is that I put out one video that takes me 10 minutes to make, and once it is up and running it makes me totally automated. The video is now prospecting for me day and night. So it's not push button ready or 100% automated, but its highly leveraged and that's the biggest key!

Myth 3: So Does the MLM Opportunity Really Matter?

After reading this information, you may be wondering, "OK, so should I just be looking for a leader or an MLM opportunity or what?"

I think either way you do it will be fine. I guess I would try to find out as much non propaganda-like information on the companies you are looking at getting involved with. Then, once your narrow your search down and find the company that best fits your needs; then its time to find a leader within that organization that you connect with and could see your self collaborating with.

By doing this you will set yourself up for a higher chance for success, because I would guess that 90% of people don't do this. They end up making an emotional decision based on hype rather than facts and logic. Once you're in, then just start marketing, marketing, marketing!
